PEP (Parent Empowerment Program)

PEP is a free support program by SKN Foundation designed specifically for South Asian parents of children with special needs. It offers culturally sensitive, personalized guidance to help parents feel confident navigating systems of support for their children.

Target Audience:

• Parents of children recently diagnosed with developmental delays or disabilities
• Families new to the U.S. and unfamiliar with support systems
• Parents seeking to become effective advocates for their child in education, healthcare, and the community

What PEP Offers:

• 6–12 months of individualized support
• One-on-one guidance from trained Parent Support Specialists
• Help accessing community and school resources
• Goal setting and action planning
• Empowerment through education and advocacy tools
